Customer Attendance Regulations
"The Organiser" refers to GBWR Trading Limited, Rugby House, Twickenham Stadium, 200 Whitton Road, Twickenham, TW2 7BA .
“The Venue” refers to the Principality Stadium, Westgate St, Cardiff CF10 1NS.
“The Event” refers to 2023 Wheelchair Rugby European Championship to be held on 3 to 7 May 2023.
“Customer” refers to any person in attendance at the Event or Venue.
- Entry
1.1 The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to the Venue and Event in reasonable circumstances including for health and safety, licensing reasons or where a ticket is void.
1.2. Every visitor who comes to the Venue is subject to have their bags searched. We therefore ask you to keep bags to a minimum and take note that we cannot to permit any large bags or luggage items, as detailed in the prohibited items list below in section 1.7. We recommend one small bag or handbag per person to minimise the time it takes to search and therefore, the size of queues. We would also advise you to allow yourself extra time to arrive for safety checks.
1.3. On arrival, our staff may request additional searches as a further safety check. Sniffer dogs may be seen around the Venue prior to and during events as extra measure to contribute to your safety.
1.4. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission or remove from the Venue any Customer acting in a way which is or may be undesirable, inappropriate, harmful, offensive, obscene, illegal, contrary to the spectator regulations, or may cause a breach of the peace.
1.5. Customers may also be refused entry or ejected from the Venue on account of being (or appearing to be) abusive, threatening, under the influence of drugs or has consumed an excessive amount of alcohol, declining to be searched, adversely affecting other people’s enjoyment of the event, throwing any objects or substance, standing on seats or in walk ways, climbing fencing (or any other structure) or smoking. Please note, this is a non-exhaustive list.
1.6. Smoking or the use of electronic cigarettes is not permitted in any part of the Venue: any Customer found smoking or using electronic cigarettes in any part of the Venue will be ejected immediately.
1.7. Any item identified to be disruptive to the enjoyment of the event or which presents a danger to staff or members of the public will be confiscated. Prohibited items include (but are not limited to):
- Aerosols, smoke bombs or stink bombs
- Items of pyrotechnic nature, including flares, fireworks, glitter bombs or sprays
- Selfie sticks, professional cameras (those with detachable lenses, monopod or tripod) or streaming, video or audio recording equipment
- Luggage, Backpacks, bags or coolers
- Packages / parcels
- Large-sized golfing or metal tipped umbrellas
- Folding chairs
- Food or drink other than that purchased with the Venue
- Glass, metal, or plastic containers
- Air horns, whistles, cowbells, or other noise-making distractions
- Projectiles such as frisbees, beachballs, or footballs
- Laser pens
- Balloons (including helium balloons)
- Flag sticks, signs, and banners
- Illegal drugs or substances
- Knives, firearms, or any other weapon including chains and/or spiked bracelets
- Masks (outside of those worn for personal safety, such as those used to reduce the spread or airborne viruses) or helmets
- Wheeled footwear, skateboards, or scooters
- Animals, except service animals to aid persons with disabilities
1.8. Customers are not permitted to enter restricted areas, including the Field of Play. Any persons entering a restricted area without the appropriate accreditation may be ejected from the venue.
1.9. No refunds or compensation of any kind will be offered to Customers who are refused entry or removed from the Venue.
1.10. Children aged 14 or under must be accompanied by a responsible adult (aged over 18 years).
1.11. Readmission is subject to Organiser discretion and may be limited to specified entrances and exits.
- Restrictions and Permissions
2.1. No food or drink items are to be taken into the Venue. Only food and drink purchased from authorised vendors in the Venue may be consumed in the Venue.
2.2. If a Customer experiences any problems with their seating or enjoyment prior to or during the Event the Customer must inform Organiser staff immediately as issues cannot always be resolved after the Event.
2.3. Official merchandising shall only be on sale in areas designated and/or licensed by the Organiser.
- Liability
3.1. All property brought on to the Venue is brought at the Customer's risk and the Organiser shall not in any way be responsible for any theft, loss, or other damage in respect of such property.
3.2. Organiser will not be responsible for any loss or, damage, death or injury howsoever caused (other than death or personal injury resulting from the negligence of The Organiser) unless the Organiser as the case may be has breached its legal obligations and such loss or damage is a direct and reasonably foreseeable result of such breach.
3.3. Subject to the foregoing, with regard to personal property brought to the Venue, the liability of the relevant party shall be limited to the reasonable cost of either repairing or replacing such personal property, subject to fair wear and tear.
3.4. Please note that loud music or noise can damage hearing and Customers who attend the Event do so at their own risk.
3.5. Personal arrangements including travel, accommodation and/or hospitality relating to, but not provided by the Event, are arranged at the Customer’s own risk.
3.6. Liability for the cancellation or rescheduling of an Event, or for material changes to an Event, will be limited to the refund as set out in the Event Ticketing terms and conditions.
3.7. Any Customers found damaging the Venue or Venue property will be removed from the Venue. Customers are liable to reimburse the Organiser for any and all costs incurred in repairing any damage to the Venue, or its fixtures, furnishing and fittings beyond normal wear and tear.
- Data Protection
4.1. Customer details are managed in accordance with the Organiser privacy policy, a copy of which can be obtained at https://wreuro23.com.
4.2. Customers may capture, record, and/or transmit still images and/or data taken within the Venue including by sharing such still images and/or data on social media and the internet provided such capture, recording or transmission is made solely for personal, private, non-commercial, and non-promotional purposes.
4.3. Customers may capture, record and/or transmit audio or video taken from the Venue, solely for personal, private, non-commercial, and non-promotional purposes.
4.4. The Organiser reserve the right to request Customers stop taking photographs, filming, capturing, or recording images/data/audio/video at any point. Customers who refuse to do so may be removed from the Venue and no ticket prices will be refunded.
4.5. The Organiser shall have a right to copy, make available and use any images, videos, or audio recordings you create on the Venue premises, without having to make any payment to you or acknowledge that you created that material.
4.6. By attending the Event you consent to the broadcast, photographing, and recording of you, your image, likeness, and voice, by us and persons authorised by us. You acknowledge that you shall have no right in or to such broadcast, photograph, or recording, or to be remunerated for such broadcast, photograph, or recording, nor any right to object to, or to be identified in relation to, such broadcast, photograph.
